Walking�

I've done not quite 20 miles in my 500 Miles to Nowhere. I should be closer to 40 at this point. I did a little extra today. I went around the block and then around our complex. That should add about 3/4 mile. I won't catch up fast, but I will catch up.

I ran into the Wonderful Spouse walking home for lunch near the strawberry field. The strawberry guy was open for business, so we went back and bought some. They will make the leftover turkey we're having for dinner tonight seem a little bit less leftover. Everything is better with strawberries.

I have made my third and final attempt at fake custard. It just doesn't work. Or at least I have been unable to make it work. So I'll give up and try the real thing. I find that many egg yolks and heavy cream a bit daunting, but I'm sure I'll manage.

I've decided that I'd really better apply myself while I'm not working. It's not going to last much longer. I've started work on two new drawings, something I haven't done in way too long.

I'm also going through all the Photoshop tutorial magazines that I can lay my hands on. That's really fun. I love learning software.
