Wondering and Pineapple Curry�

Hot today. We've been lucky so far; maybe five days when the AC has started up.

Was up and planting stuff before 8:00 am this morning and knew it was a bad day to plant. It was already hot and the wind was making me itchy.

Planted the stuff I wanted to plant anyway, watered them in and then watered again in the afternoon. I can only hope for the best.

Spouse and I went to a Thai food place for 'linner'. Their food is consistently good, at least for the last ten years. There aren't very many restaurants I've liked that much, for that long, so I try to appreciate it every time we go. You never know when quality will finally win out over economics. Here's to an even longer and more profitable life for Thai Specialties. They've given me and the Wonderful Spouse many happy meals.

I've been spending a lot of my time wondering. What will the food be like in China? In Cambodia? What will turn out to be the most common beer? (We've been told, drink treated water or beer.) The Wonderful Spouse says if we knew all that, we wouldn't need to go.

He's wrong, of course. We both know that. We bought notebooks today, for journals. I'm hoping to transcribe mine, with photos. But if I don't, that will still be OK.

This isn't a trip we're taking for granted. Luck is the only thing allowing us to go. So we both want to take full advantage of the opportunity we've been given. Make the most of it. See and learn as much as we can.

I wonder about everything. My questions are soon to be answered.
