Exploring the refrigerator 2004-09-03 I feel I've been lazy lately, so I've decided I have to work on one housecleaning project per day. Not the usual wash dishes, sweep of clean out the trash. Yesterday was cleaning the molding around the bathroom floor. With a toothbrush. There's really no other way to do it. Today's project was cleaning out the refrigerator. What a voyage of exploration that was. Foods and condiments we hadn't in used in, dare I say it, years. It wasn't as interesting as other people's refrigerators perhaps. No dead animal parts in my fridge. A man whose wife lets him keep animal parts in the fridge has the right spouse for his avocation. Of course, my husband lets me keep caterpillars in the living room, so I think I'll place myself on that 'Oh-So-Lucky' list. The fridge is clean now. And organized! I'm so proud. I actually put the stuff that we use most often in the easy to reach shelves. Short stuff in front, tall in back. It'll probably take Spouse and Stepson weeks to figure it out, but they'll get used it. |
