The Golden Hour�

So today was career evaluation day. The career that came up only second was petrochemical. I can hardly believe that one. I wanted an electric car. One of the few decisions I regret making is buying the car I got instead of the hybrid car I really wanted. Petrochemicals indeed.

The other career that came up was priest/minister/social worker. Another thing I can scarce give credit. There are just not that many human people that I care to assist.

I did have a good drive home. Took more than an hour, but it was the golden hour. The last hour before the sun goes down. The sunlight was the color of honey. The edges of everything, gilded with sunlight.

I drove the back way, through the hills. The smell of sage and eucalyptus flowing through the air. I got over an hour of open air. It was lovely to be outside after the rain of the last few days.
