A dearth of ideas�

I'm wracking my brains, not for myself, but for my mom. She needs to get my dad a golden anniversary present. But what? I haven't found anything that seems reasonable. I haven't been inspired by anything I've found on the net. Mom was thinking a gold nugget for a keychain. I'm thinking it would have be a lot of gold to make a decent keychain. I was thinking a gold or gold plated coin from the year they were married. Maybe a gold pocket knife, since he's always carried one. Gah! A dearth of ideas.
