A little worn out�

No entries of late, I know. Lots and little going on.

Three weekends ago, went and had second Mother's day with MIL. Spouse did work around her apartment.

Weekend before last,there was a China party. Most of the people scheduled to go to China this year met at one of the traveler's homes. We had dinnner with the rest of the travelers and watched a video that Dad made.

That and Dad had another TIA, like the one he had in China, except that it was amplified by the Thalidomide. Spent the rest weekend between the hospital and Mom. Thank goodness he had it the day after the party.

Then a nephew's graduation. Poor boy, apathetic at best. His best friend, a girl, has a boyfriend now so he had no real friends to celebrate with. And celebrating with your mom is not a real celebration, at least not at that age.

Then a graduation party, one in which the graduatee didn't really participate. Mothers, don't let your kids grow up to be picky eaters. It doesn't make them special, it just makes them a pain in the ass. I love my nephew, but making everyone else adjust to your very narrow eating habits just makes spending time with you problematic.

Then Father's Day. No real words for this one. Except, Dad's still here. Ten months ago, when he told us he had multiple myeloma, none of us thought he would still be with us.
