Shame�

When I first found out about the embedded reporters I wonder about this. I thought about all of the terrible things that soldiers have done during wars over the centuries. Rape and pillage were part of the spoils of war. Now the families back home are going to know what happens, the good and the bad. The whole world will eventually find out.

I don�t think that�s a bad thing. It provides a check on behavior that hasn�t been there before.

I can�t believe those soldiers (whoever and at whatever level) thought they would get away with it. And took pictures, for crying out loud. How could they not know those would eventually find their way to the public.

I�ve been ashamed of our president for a long time now. I wish I didn�t have to feel the same about those who took part.
