Not fair 2003-04-08 When I was diagnosed with SLE, I never thought, Why me? When I was brought into the local emergency room, I never thought, Why me? When they hooked me up for plasmapheresis, I never asked, Why me? Why now, do I say; Its not fair! When it was myself, I never asked. Fairness wasnt a question. I know that life isnt fair. Never has been and never will. Still, I think. Its not fair. As if life had anything to do with fairness. |
